There are 6 TIFs that have some land area in North Lawndale–the Homan-Arthington TIF, the Midwest TIF, the Ogden-Pulaski TIF, Roosevelt-Cicero TIF, Roosevelt-Homan TIF and the Western-Ogden TIF. A seventh TIF, the Kostner Avenue TIF, is approximately 1 block south of the southwestern corner of North Lawndale. We have included it because of its proximity to North Lawndale, and the fact that proposed shopping areas for the Kostner Avenue TIF include the North Lawndale community.
